The slogan focuses its efforts to ensure that citizens celebrate without consuming
The Camp de Túria Commonwealth, through the Social Welfare department and the Community Addiction Prevention Unit (UPCA), continues its campaign of 12 months, 12 slogans.
This August, from the UPCA Camp de Túria, we want to remind citizens, especially those who attend and participate in the patron saint festivities of their municipalities, that the consumption of substances such as alcohol, tobacco, vapes, or other drugs is not essential to have a good time during the celebrations.
Although these festivities have traditionally been associated with the consumption of such substances and certain behaviors have been normalized, we should not be swayed by what is expected of us or by peer pressure. Let’s focus on enjoying the moment fully and also be an example for children and younger generations that it is not necessary to consume to have fun.
Under the slogan “This festive season, proPOSE health,” we invite you to experience festivities that are not marked by dizziness, nausea, aggression, or any other consequences of substance consumption.
Remember that festivities can be synonymous with dancing, laughter, friendship, participation, activities, music, or joy, but they do not have to be synonymous with consumption.
