Islamic site Alquería de Bofilla
Andalusian farmhouse that was part of the defensive belt of Balansiya (Valencia). It exceeds 2 ha with two blocks: the defensive (barriers, albacar, tower) and the residential (houses, baths). Visit by appointment only.
Castle of Andalusian origin
Almohade fortress from the last third of the 12th century with archaeological remains from the Bronze Age to the 11th century Islamic period. In the 13th century, under the Order of Calatrava, it became a noble castle.
Church of the Purísima Concepción
Neoclassical church from the 18th century built on the remains of the ancient Arab mosque.
Festa de les Alfàbegues
The highest expression of the festive culture of Bétera. Offering of the largest alfàbegues (basil plants) in the world, cultivated in the Hort de les Alfàbegues. Ten days of festivities with Valencian fireworks.
Parc del Jonqueral
Urban garden with varied vegetation and urban furniture (tables, benches). Meeting point for snacks or outdoor gatherings.
Orelletes
Traditional sweet whose name refers to its ear shape. Thin dough fried until crispy, dusted with sugar. Made during major festivals and special celebrations.
